Rainwater Harvesting is referred to the collection, filtration, storage, and usage of rainwater from a buildings’ roofs or catchment areas. The accumulated rainwater is then integrated into the regular Plumbing System, where water is easily intercepted and diverted to required channels.
The guidelines of Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) has been recently revised in adherence to the directions laid by the National Green Tribunal. The new guidelines state that obtaining NOC is a mandatory requirement for abstraction of water from the ground or borewell. This is a great initiative to promote improvements of the Groundwater regulatory processes.
